Hello, folks. I just realized today that the quality of 128k MP3s (the free MP3s) on this site didn't sound as good as they ideally could, so I re-encoded all of them using different settings and now all the songs sound much better. This has taken care of some nasty compression artifacts that used to be present in the audio. The new versions have replaced the old versions, so if you wish to get the corrected files, simply download the songs again and write over your old MP3s.
This recent change does not affect the 256k (non-free) MP3s (I have listened to all 5+ hours of these and they sound excellent). -- Benj |
